The State Library purchased access to several new databases for free use by all Kansans. Salina Reference Librarian Nancy Jo Leachman has used databases to answer reference questions for ____ years and she loves to teach. One problem with teaching databases is that when people go home they cannot reinforce their workshop learning with follow-up work. One goal of this workshop is to prepare you for participating in follow up work back at your library. After this workshop, Chris Rippel will post online questions to be answered by these databases. When participants answer correctly 20 question, they will have completed the project and earn additional CE grant money.
